V květnu jsme s kamarádkou San byly pozvány zástupci Disney v Rumunsku do Bukurešti, abychom udělaly radost dětem v nemocnici a při akci v nákupním centru. Děti si naši návštěvu opravdu užily a my si odvezly mnoho nových zkušeností a zážitků a udělaly si mnoho přátel mezi rumunskými fanoušky Star Wars z Club STAR WARS Romania.

In May I was, together with my best buddy San, invited by Disney representatives to Romania to make happy some children in Bucharest hospital and one of shopping centres there. Children really enjoyed our visit, we got some new experience and got to know many new Star Wars fans from Club STAR WARS Romania.

Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate Rise Up! [VIDEO]
This weekend I attended the official premiere of fan video Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate Rise Up!
Its the video we shoot at the beginning of December in the historical centre of Prague together with guys from Purple Stonehenge, parkour group Divernity and costuming group I am member of, Assassin’s Creed Cosplay – Czech Brotherhood. I got to be no one else than Evie Frye (except for action scenes which were perfectly done by my colleague parkourist Marianna).

Assassin’s Creed Rise Up! [VIDEO]
Tento víkend jsem se účastnila oficiální premiéry fan videa Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate Rise Up!
Je to video, na jehož natáčení jsem se na začátku prosince v centru Prahy podílela spolu s tvůrčím týmem Purple Stonehenge, parkourovou skupinou Divernity a kostýmovou skupinou, jejímž jsem členem, Assassin’s Creed Cosplay – Czech Brotherhood. Zahrála jsem si tam nikoho menšího, než Evie Frye (krom akčních scén, které obstarala šikovná kolegyňka parkouristka Marianna).

CosDobrodružství roku 2015
Blíží se konec roku, a tak sumarizuji a plánuji. I co se týče kostýmů. Došla jsem na to, že jsem letos dokončila 5 kostýmů (a z toho překvapivě ani jeden Star Wars!). Rozhodla jsem se tedy udělat jejich krátké shrnutí, sepsat, co nejzajímavějšího jsem si s nimi užila a nastínit, jestli s nimi mám ještě nějaké plány a jaké.
Kostým č. 1 – Claire Redfield (z hry Resident Evil 2) – rychlý kostým a dlouholetý splněný sen. U nás ji pozná málokdo, ale já z ní mám stejně radost. V létě mě v ní úžasně nafotil neskutečně trpělivý, ochotný a flexibilní Jekkyl. Někdy ji musím vzít do zahraničí, kde jsem snad na každém conu potkala kostýmy z RE. Ráda bych v ní udělala photoshoot i s jinými cosplayery Resident Evil. I u nás jich slušných pár je, tak snad se příští rok poštěstí.
Kostým č. 2 a 3 – Supergirl (filmová verze + komiksová M. Turner verze) – vlastně dva kostýmy jedné postavy vyrobené krátce po sobě. A další splnění dětského snu. Supergirl každý pozná, a tak je ji zábava nosit. S filmovou verzí jsem si užila skvělé dva letní photoshooty. Jeden na FF a druhý bylo DC focení v Bubenči v čističce. S komiksovou verzí jsem si dosyta užila pozornosti v zahraničí na FACTS. Filmová verze dostane novou paruku, aby se přiblížila víc vizuálu filmu. Už ji mám, jen ji musím upravit. Pro komiksovou Supergirl je v plánu pořádné nafocení a taky trocha cvičení/práce na mé postavě.
Kostým č. 4 – Galina Voronina/moderní assassín – rychlý, téměř skříňový, kostým, který jsem dala dohromady na sraz assassínů na FF. Vysloužil mi členství v Assassin’s Creed Cosplay – Czech Brotherhood a tyto dvě události se staly rozjezdem pro kostým č. 5 a spoustu cosdobrodružství letoška. V době výroby kostýmu měla Galina pouze koncept, teď už je mnoho komiksových materiálů a dokonce ingame sekvence, takže v budoucnu plánuji kompletní udělání tohoto kostýmu znovu.
Kostým č. 5 – Evie Frye (ze hry Assassin’s Creed Syndicate) – kostým, na který jsem myslela, že nemám, abych ho zvládla udělat. Zvládla a opravdu jsem si to s ním užila. Několik promo akcí pro Conquest (české zastoupení Assassin’s Creed), zahraniční con a focení, natáčení… zkrátka spousta zábavy a zážitků. Hrozně mě baví být Evie. Kostým potřebuje už jen pár drobných dodělávek (výšivky na kapuci, znak na pláštíku, boty, holster), ale jinak jsem s ním spokojená.
A co plánuji na příští rok?
Mám několik rozdělaných kostýmů, které chci konečně dokončit:
Úplně nové mám zatím určitě v plánu čtyři. Seznam je sice delší, ale jelikož u těch dalších nemám jistotu, že je zvládnu, zatím si je nechám pro sebe.
2015 CosAdventures
The end of year is coming and I am recapitulating and making plans for next year. Even cosplay-wise. This year I finished 5 costumes (and surprisingly none of them was Star Wars related!). So I decided to make a short list of them, remember the best things I did in them and what plans, if some, I have with them in next year.
Cosplay No.1 – Claire Redfield (Resident Evil 2 game) – a quick costume and long time dream becoming a reality. In the Czech Republic only few people recognize her, but still I am thrilled to wear it. In summer I had a small photoshoot with always patient, nice and flexible Jekkyl, who is always willing to take some photos of me. And for that, I am truly greatful. Some time in the near future I have to bring her to some foreign convention. Every time abroad I’ve met some RE cosplayers so it seems good choice. There is a bunch of them in Czech Republic too, but I wasn’t lucky enough to get together with them. Hopefully I will manage in 2016.
Cosplay No.2 and 3 – Supergirl (movie version + comics M. Turner version) – in reality two costumes of one characte made one after another. And second childhood dream come true. Everyone recognizes Supergirl, so these are really fun to wear. With movie version I enjoyed two great photoshoots in the summer – one at Festival fantazie, another at Bubeneč with other DC characters. With comics version I enjoyed plenty of attention at FACTS in Belgium. Movie version will get a new wig to look more like in the movie. I already have it, but need to style it. I plan to have some good photos of comics version taken and I plan to work out a bit to look better in it.
Cosplay No. 4 – Galina Voronina/modern age assassin – quick, almost closet cosplay, I put together for assassins‘ gathering at Festival fantazie. I became member of Assassin’s Creed Cosplay – Czech Brotherhood with it. And these two things, Galina cosplay and Brotherhood, were the first things leading me to making of cosplay no. 5 and the biggest cosadventures of this year. At the time I made Galina, there was only concept available. Now there are comics, whole ingame sequence, so I definitely plan to make this cosplay anew.
Cosplay No. 5 – Evie Frye (from Assassin‘s Creed Syndicate) – I thought I don’t have the skill to make this costume, but I really wanted it so I managed. And it was sooooo worth it! Several promo events, convention abroad, video shooting… Plenty of fun and new experiences. I really enjoy to cosplay Evie. It still needs some minor updates (embroidery on the hood, assassin sign on the cape, boots, holster), but otherwise I am quite satisfied with it.
And what’s the plan for next year?
I have some costumes which I’ve started already and want to finish finally:
I have four costumes I plan to start from the scratch next year. There are more on my wishlist/to do plan, but as I am not sure when and if I will be able to make them, I won§t mention them for now.
Barriss Offee – make-up a příslušenství
Make-up
Pro svá tetování používám šablonu, kterou jsem našla zde, a která velikostně odpovídá mému obličeji. Šablonu jsem vyřezala z tužší fólie. Tetování barvím obyčejnou tužkou na oči – volím spíše měkčí a mastnější. Žlutavého nádechu pleti dosahuji smícháním světlého makeupu a žluté/béžové barvy na obličej (většinou značky Guirca). Závěrečnou tečkou je černá rtěnka, černý lak na nehty a modré kontaktní čočky (ColourVUE – BigEyes cool blue nebo Glamour blue).
Další přípravky, které vidíte na fotce jsou krém – používám ho jako základ po makeup a korektor na překrytí akné a nejpatrnějších „kazů“ pokožky.
Opasek s přezkou
Opasek, který jsem použila je obyčejný český armádní opasek s čistou zelenou přezkou zakoupený v jednom brněnském army shopu. Na kovou přezku pak můj otec přilepil různobarevné odřezky kůže tak, aby vzor co nejvíce připomínal vzor na přezce filmové.
Boty a světelný meč
Ke kostýmu nosím černé vysoké boty jezdeckého stylu zakoupené na eBay. Už je tam nemají, ale prodávali je jako módní dámské kozačky. Meč je na zakázku vyrobený firmou Nocturne Armory. Stál mě jmění, ale je to velmi přesná replika Barrissina meče. Jeho čepel je vyjímatelná a vyztužená pro souboje. Má modrou barvu i ozvučení. Stále tedy za každou investovanou korunu.
Kapsa a covertec
Z ryze praktických důvodů nosím i další dvě součásti kostýmu, které ve filmu nebo na referenčních obrázcích nenajdete – covertec závěs na meč a kapsičku. Pokud se mi nechce nosit celý meč, beru si je rukojeť, kterou snadno zavěsím na opasek. Covertec snadno přesunu po opasku dozadu a schovám jej pod plášť. A stejně tak kapsu. Ta mi tak poskytuej praktický úložný prostor na peníze, rtěnku, baterie do meče atd.
Barriss Offee make-up and accessories
Make-up
For Barriss’s tattoos I have printed out and cut out the pattern I found here (and which proportionally fits well to my face). I cut it out from a foil, which is thick enough to hold the shape, but can be bent enough to copy the shape of my nose so it is easier to draw the pattern. To paint the tattoos I use eyeliner pencil. For make-up I use yellowish/beige face colour (most often the brand of Guirca) combined/mixed with really pale make-up. To finish the look I use black lipstick, black nail polish and blue contact lenses (brand ColourVUE – BigEyes cool blue nebo Glamour blue).
Other stuff on the picture is cream I use as the basis and the corrector stick to cover the acne or bigger flaws on my skin.
The belt and buckle
I bought the plain brown belt in army shop. Its and ordinary Czech army belt with green plain metal buckle. On this buckle my father glued on pieces of differently coloured leather to make the shape as similar to the original Barriss’s buckle as possible.
Boots and lightsaber
I use equestrian style black boots which I bought on eBay. They are not available anymore, but they were sold as ordinary fashionable high boots for ladies. My saber is custom-made by Nocturne Armory. It cost me a lot, but it is very accurate replica of Barriss saber hilt as seen in films, the blade can be removed and it is the one which I can fight with, the saber has sounds and blue colour. So it really was worth it.
Pouch and covertec
For practical reasons I wear two other belt accessories which are not seen in films or elsewhere: covertec and pouch. When I feel like taking only the saber hilt, I use the covertec to hang it on my belt. When I’m holding the saber in my hands I just slid the covertec to my back, where it is hidden by the cloak. The same with pouch – I have it on my belt at the back, where it is hidden. This way I have some practical place where to put some money, spare batteries for saber, lipstick to correct the make-up etc. and I don’t spoil the accurateness of the costume.
